Biographical Text

Best-known for his time at Raith Rovers, Davie Sinclair had just left Falkirk when he arrived at Exeter City on trial on the eve of the 2000/01 season.

Whilst at Exeter City, he played against Queens Park Rangers in a pre-season friendly in July 2000. Not offered a contract by the Grecians, he played a couple of league games for Forfar Athletic before signing for Hill of Beath Hawthorn close to his Dunfermline birthplace.

Starting his career with Kelty, he turned professional with Raith Rovers where he played 177 league games between 1990 and 1996 scoring ten goals. He then had a brief spell with Millwall before a generally unproductive stay at Dundee United.

Davie then made 45 league appearances for Falkirk in the 1998/99 and 1999/2000 seasons before trying his luck with City.
