Tony was as a youth player in 1974/75.

He appeared for City as a forward in the FA Youth Cup in 1974, against Newport County.
 He played against Bodmin, in a South Western League game for Exeter City on the 20/1/1975 and appeared for City in the Devon and Exeter and South West and Wales Youth Leagues.
