I played with Ian in the City Youth Team briefly. A very classy midfielder who (I think) had England Youth trails whilst at City. He was also with Plymouth Argyle for a time.

Our paths crossed again years later when we were both playing locally for L&M and we became good friends.

Ian ran a successful Soccer school in East Devon for several years and is still coaching in local Footbal.
