Nothampton 1965

Jon, from Penzance, was an Exeter City trainee/apprentice between 1981 and 1983. He later played for a number of teams in West Cornwall. 

He was the son of Tony Claypole who made 116 Football League appearances for Northampton Town between 1956 and 1962 before moving to Cornwall in 1972 where he turned out for Penzance and Mousehole.
