David Spencer-Smith, a amateur youth international goalkeeper, appeared for Exeter Cty''s youth and reserve teams between 1974 and 1976.
From West Cornwall, he had played for Penzance's reserves as a
sixteen-year-old and had appeared in one of the last games played by the Egnland Amateur Youth XI against Northern Ireland in April 1974.
Appearing for City's youth team in the South West and Wales Youth League in 1974/75, he later played in the Western League during the 1975/76 before continuing his career with a number of clubs in the Buckinghamshire area.
