Robert (Bob) Eames was a youth player at Exeter. He played a number of times in the 1972/73 season replacing the injured reserve team keeper Dave Bassett. Bob may have been at St Luke's College on a teacher training course. 

He he taught at Queen Elizabeth Community College. Credition.
Bob also played Cricket locally and has played cricket for England Over 60's, including touring Australia. 
In 2017, Bob was playing Cricket for Devon over 70's.
