1972 Eames, Bob
Biographical Text
Bob Eames, an all-round sportsman who also played cricket and rugby, appeared in goal for Exeter City's reserves during 1972/73. He later taught in Crediton for many years.
Srudying at St Luke's College, he stepped in for goalkeeper Dave Bassett on a number of occasions during the 1972/73 season as City's reserves became re-established in the Western League after a fivw-year break.
Also playing rugby and cricket - to the extent of later playing for the England over-60s and over-70s - he taught at Queen Elizabeth Community College in Crediton.
