Biographical Text
Ted Holehouse was a goalkeeper from Taunton who played reserve matches for the Grecians in the 1958/59 season. He went on to play for Bristol City and Minehead.
Formerly with Pucklechurch, near Bristol, his performances for Exeter City's reserves as an amateur led to the offer of a professional contract but he opted to sign for Bristol City instead.
Not making the first team at Ashton Gate he was at Western League Minehead by 1963 and in a lengthy stay he appeared for the West Somerset club in the first round proper of the FA Cup in 1970/71 against Shrewsbury Town.
