Cameron, from Newton Abbot, was with City from the under-9s through to becoming a trainee in 2013 and then remaining with the club until 2016. He was on loan at Truro City in 2015/16. 

After playing for various clubs in South Devon over the years, Cameron was reported as signing for Bideford in March 2023 along with Charlie Madden whom he played alongside at Exeter City.
