Ben Walshe

Ben Walshe was born in Hammersmith in May 1983. He started his career with Queens Park Rangers and prior to playing for Exeter in the pre-season had been at QPR as a youth player. He was released by Rangers in 2003 and joined Gravesend for one season. He played on trial at Exeter in pre-season friendlies in 2004. After leaving Exeter he signed for St Albans. 

In October 2006 the BBC reported the following:- 

"St Albans City have brought ex-Queens Park Rangers winger Ben Walshe back to Clarence Park for a third spell. 
Walshe, 23, left Saints in the summer after they won promotion, but returns as a free agent and is eligible for Saturday's FA Cup tie at Yeading, Walshe who also works as an actor and has appeared in the football soap Dream Team, started his career at Rangers. He made two senior appearances for QPR, and played 22 Conference games in a loan spell at Gravesend & Northfleet." 

He rejoined St Albans for a fourth time in 2008, Ben had spells with Aldershot Town, Gravesend & Northfleet, Fisher Athletic and Australian clubs Richmond and Doveton.
In 2013/14 he played for Guildford City.
