Scott Middlemass

Scott Middlemass was a trialist in 1988/89 and played for the reserves in 1994/95.
Scott played for the Reserves against Cheltenham in the Avon Insurance Combination League at home in March 1995.


"Scott Middlemass was at Carlisle United as a first year apprentice, Preston North End as a second year apprentice, then moving to Northampton Town and Fulham. He was with Ashton United in 1993 when he made six appearances, probably on loan.

It was whilst he was at Fulham he spent a month on loan at Macclesfield making four appearances.

On leaving Fulham he signed for Chorley before moving to Ilkeston Town in November 1995 where he made six appearances. Scott then played for Bishop Auckland, Bamber Bridge, Morecambe and Cambridge United (1996-97 - 10 appearances). Then spent time in China with Foshan FC returning to the UK with Doncaster Rovers (1997-98) and TNS (1998). Next stop was in the USA with Cincinnati Riverhawks, back to the UK with Scarborough from August 1999 to November 1999 (10 appearances) before signing for Fredrikstad in, Norway in 2000.

Scott then moved to the USA signing for South Jersey Barons becoming the Technical Director for boy's football at the club. From 2013 to 2017 he had two stints as NGLA Technical Director. He was then appointed Technical Director/Site Manager at the Scholar Athletes Leadership Academy in New Jersey. In February 2019 Scott was appointed an individual performance analyst in the Girls set up at SJEB NJ Rush in New Jersey and in June 2020 appointed the Boys Director of Coaching.  There is a tie up with Fleetwood Town International Football Academy (FTIFA) with Scott being FTIFA'a Ambassador in addition to being Scout for the East Coast Region."
