Goalkeeper Phil Noon from Liverpool, an Exeter City trainee between 1993 and 1995, sat on the first-team bench as an unused substitute goalkeeper on several occasions during 1993/94 and 1994/95. He later had a spell with Macclesfield.
First sitting on the bench for the league game against Plymouth Argyle in March 1994, he played for the 'A' team before it folded as well as the youth and reserve teams in 1994/95.
