Exeter, Devon 1961

Paul Gidley appeared for Exeter Cty's youth and reserve teams between 1977 and 1979 before playing for the Exmouth Town team that won Western League titles and reached the semi-finals of the FA Vase. 

He played for Exeter City's youth team in the South West and Wales Youth League in 1977/78 as well as for the reserves in the Western League. 

Continuing in the Western League in 1978/79, he later enjoyed success with Exmouth Town in the Western League and was part of the team that lost to Fleetwood Town in the semi-final of the FA Vase in 1985.
