Phil Mortimer was a left back who was on trial from Norwich for City in 1991/92, he played against Bristol Rovers for Exeter City Reserves in the Clifton Stockbrokers League in April 1992.

Phil Mortimer was a defender from Romford , who was in the same Norwich City youth side as Jamie Cureton.

After leaving Norwich he played for Diss Town and Fakenham. In December 1998, Phil joined Watton United but returned to Fakenham in the summer of 2000.
