Ross Knight, then with Barry Town in the League of Wales, was on trial with Exeter City in 1995/96.
Studying in Cardiff, he played for UWIC Inter Cardiff from 1993 to 1995 before switching to Barry and later turning out for Ebbw Vale and, back home in the Midlands, Alvechurch.
He was in his mid-twenties at the time of his brief stay with the Grecians.
