Darren Keeling was St Paul's, Bristol who was described as a quick right footed player who can play at right back or in midfield.
He had been released by Bristol City after one year at Ashton Gate.
Terry Cooper had hoped to sign Darren, budget permiitting. Budget did not permit.

Darren instead signed for Weymouth, and then in 1997 signed for Gloucester City where he made 31 apperances, he also played for Yeovil Town in 1999/2000 and after that Clevedon.
