Jack came through the Exeter City academy first playing for the under-8s and staying in the system through to the under-16s in 2007/08. He became a trainee in 2008, played in a first-team friendly against Clevedon and spent time on loan at Bideford.
After his release by City, Jack played on a regular basis for Bideford before going into coaching at the age of twenty-five. He started coaching with St Martin’s and later managed Topsham Town.
Jack then became assistant to Richard Pears at Buckland Athletic before serving as joint-manager of Elmore. As of 2022/23 Jack was enjoying a successful season working with Ben Watson at Crediton United prior to the pair taking charge of Barnstaple Town in November 2023 through until May 2024.
