Hakan Hayrettin

Born Enfield 4 February 1970.

Hakan played on trial for Exeter City in 1990/91. He had previously been an apprentice at Leyton Orient and had played for Barnet. In 1990 he had signed for Turkish club Karşıyaka b
ut discovered his Turkish parentage made him eligible for national service. After his Exeter trial, Hakan returned to Barnet who were soon to be promoted to the Football League. 

After a short loan at Torquay United, Hakan later played for Wycombe Wanderers, Cambridge United, Doncaster Rovers and Peterborough United. He played non-league until 2003 when he moved into management with clubs such as Thurrock, Grays Athletic and Braintree Town. 

Hakan took Maidstone United to promotion in 2022 but was sacked in January 2023. Shortly afterwards he was appointed as manager of Dulwich Hamlet.
