Robin Marker scored 4 goals on his A team debut in a 6-1 win at home to Friernhay in October 1981. As an 18 year old he scored twice on his reserve team debut in 3-1 win at Southend, in February 1982.

He was a non-contract player in 1983, he was the older brother of Nick Marker.
