Kyle Bassett was with the under-15 and under-16 development squads at the Centre of Excellence prior to becoming a trainee in 2008. 

He later played for Weymouth, Wellington, Tiverton (8 games, 2 goals during 2012/13) and Taunton before playing in the Devon & Exeter League.

As of 2024 Kyle was running Bas Scaffolding in Exeter and apearing for Newtown in local football.
