Barry Carless was an amateur who played for the reserves in the early 1960's.
He also played rugby, and represented Devon from 1960 to 1963.

Not only did Barrie play for Exeter & Devon at rugby, he captained both sides and was Exeter Rugby's first " proper " coach.

Barrie died in May 1920.
