Jake Wannell
Jake, from Newton Abbot, joined City as an under-15 in 2008/09 and became a scholar/trainee on leaving school in 2010. He signed a professional deal in 2012 prior to spending time on loan at Dorchester, Chippenham and Poole.
After his release from City Jake enjoyed a lenghty stint at Weymouth where he played 110 games in all competetions scoring 7 times. He then moved to Salisbury in May 2017 and Taunton in June 2020.
At Taunton Jake was a member of the club’s 2021/22 Southern League Premier South championship-winning team. He continued to play for the club in National League South during 2022/23 often partnering one-time Exeter City trainee Nick Grimes in defence.
Jake, who as of early 2023 was working as an environmental surveyor in the Exeter area, moved to Yeovil Town in June 2023 for an undisclosed fee.
