Alan Banks created a new record for the number of goals scored by any one player for Exeter City. His tally now reads 93 League goals, 8 Cup goals, total 101 (previous record was held by Graham Rees). Alan also became the first City player to score more than 20 goals in a season since Ted Calland scored 27 in 1958-59 season.

HIGHEST SCORE FOR: 6-2 v. Crewe (home), September 12th, 1970.

HIGHEST SCORE AGAINST: 0-5 v. Brentford (away), Octo- ber, 1970.

HIGHEST INDIVIDUAL SCORE IN ONE GAME, 3 goals by Alan Banks v. Grimsby, October 21st, 1970.

LONGEST UNDEFEATED RUN: 5 games, after losing at Cam- bridge 0-2, on March 6th, 1971 we won two home games, drew two away, and won one away, before being defeated by Crewe on Good Friday, April 9th, 1971, by 1-4.

LONGEST RUN WITHOUT A WIN: 4. There were two such runs, after winning 4-1 home to Aldershot, November 11th 1970, we drew one, and lost three (one Cup). After the above undefeated run we lost on Good Friday drew the other two Easter games, and lost to Hartlepool,
