Chris Higgs, a goalkeeper, played for City's youth team between 1997 and 1999 and was in the team that faced Notts County in the FA Youth Cup on 25 November 1998.
He went on the play for Dorchester Town and Axminster Town where, in 2007/08, he won two player of the year awards. Chris later dropped down to the Perry Street and Devon & Exeter leagues with Lyme Regis Town for whom he played until retiring in 2023.
