Jake Whitmore was a goalkeeper, from Ilfracombe who was on trial at Exeter City's Academy in 1996.

He played 21 matches in the South West Counties Youth league in 1996/97.

He played in goal for the 1st team on the 11/3/98 v Bideford in the St.Lukes Cup Semi Final.

He also played in the Arsenal FA Youth Cup games.
