Carl Dale

Carl Dale, born on the 29 April 1966 in Colwyn Bay, started his football career as a youth player at Arsenal.

He played in North Wales for Conway United, Rhyl Town and Bangor City from 1983 to 1988. He was then signed by Chester City, in the football league for £12,000 where he played 116 games scoring 41 goals, until he was signed for Cardiff City for a little less than £100,000 in 1991, he carried on scoring freely reaching a total of 71 in 211 appearance until was released in the summer of 1998, which is when he joined Exeter City on trial.

He played in a few pre-season games at City on trial but opted to move Yeovil Town instead where he scored 4 goals in 19 games in 1998/1999. After one season he moved back to Wales and signed for Newport County, making 71 appearances and scoring 33 times before retiring at the end of the 2000/2001 season.
