Matthew Wonnacott, then a youth team player, made a soltiary first-team appearance for Exeter City in the Conference Cup in 2005.
Matthew was with the under-15s at Exeter City in 2001/02 and was part of the under-16s development squad in 2002/03 before becoming a trainee upon leaving school in 2003.
Having appeared in City in the Devon St Luke's Bowl during his first year, including scoring against Torrington in the semi-final, Matthew moved into his second-year as a full-time youth player and made a substitute appearance for the first-team in the Conference Cup at Aldershot Town on 8 February 2005.
