Biographical Text

Nelson Iseguan became a scholar/trainee in 2019 and later signed a professional contract. He played in a single EFL Trophy game before being released in 2023.

Nelson made his first-team debut on 17th October 2020 against West Bromwich Albion under-21 in the EFL Trophy. He later went on a season-loan to Tiverton Town in September 2021 and played twenty-nine games in total. During the same 2021/22 season Nelson also featured for City in the Premier League under-23 Cup.

In August 2022 Nelson joined Torquay United but only made four substitute appearances during his time at Plainmoor. He returned to Tiverton for a second loan spell in February 2023 and immediately saw more football. Soon afterwards, in March, it was agreed to "mutually terminate" his Exeter City contract and Nelson signed for Tiverton Town a few days later before switching to Crediton United ahead of the following season. Appearing for the Lords Meadow club against Exeter City in the Devon St Luke's Bowl in September 2023 Nelson was a goalscorer in his new club's 3-2 win. He subsequently joined Exmouth Town in October 2023 only to briefly rejoin former Crediton manager (and one-time Exeter City player) Ben Watson at Barnstaple Town in February 2024 prior to making a return to Exmouth in June 2024.
