Biographical Text
Ellis was an Exeter City trainee/scholar between 2019 and 2021 having previously been part of Leeds United's academy system. He was to suffer the misfortune of breaking an ankle shortly after arriving at Exeter.
Taking part in City's FA Youth Cup ties during 2020/21, a highlight of his time with the club was scoring against Cheltenham Town in the second round of the competition. He also appeared against Leicester City when the side's run ended in the fourth round in March 2021.
Ellis remained with the Grecians as a professional for the 2021/2022 season during which time he had loans to Truro City and Willand Rovers as well as appearing for Exeter in under-23 cup matches.
He subsequently returned to the Halifax area to pursue his education and, by December 2023, was playing for Hyde United.
