George played against Cirencester in the South West Counties Youth cup final. He played in the club's South West Youth League team in 20087/08, he was a student at Exeter College.

From 2008 to 2012 George coached at the Academy and for the City Community Trust.

In 2012 he was employed by Fitness First in Exeter and was still there in 2019/20, as well as becoming a personal trainer.

In 2021 George was appointed the Exeter City Women’s Team Strength and Conditioning Coach.
