Michael played against Cirencester in the South West Counties Youth cup final.
He played for the Under-18's in the South West Counties Youth League in 2007/08.

In 2009/10, he played 16 games for Tiverton, before moving onto play for Elmore FC.

Michael from Tiverton, obtained a sports management degree from Bucks New University, in 2013.
