Mark was on loan from Bideford and was said to have "acquitted himself well at left back" in the reserve game against Cardiff Reserves.

He was the only Bideford player given a contract by Sports Ground manager Dick Twigg who had set up a trial at Third division Notts County before City stepped in. The trip to County had been postponed.

In 2020 Mark was Head of Commercial at Exeter City Football Club, and had been with Exeter City for a number of years in a variety of commercial roles. He leads the commercial team at the club.
