Truro, Cornwall 1979

Danny Rendle, from Penzance, played for Exeter City's age-group teams during 1994/95 and 1995/96 whilst still at school. Becoming a trainee in 1996, he continued to play for the club's youth teams through untl the end of the 1997/98.

Having come on as a substitute in a first-team pre-season friendly at Bridgwater in July 1997, he scored against Colchester United in the FA Youth Cup before appearing against in both games against Arsenal in the same competition in December 1997.

He later returned to West Cornwall, played for Penzance, Ludgvan and St Just and became a builder.
