Plymouth-born Steve Rogers played in midfield for the under-18s in the Football League Youth Alliance in 2015/16 after previously being part of Torquay United's youth programme until it folded.

Moving into adult football Steve played in the SW Peninsula League for Tavistock, Bodmin and St Blazey.
