Trainee from the Andover area between 1990 and 1992 who appeared in the FA Youth Cup against Chelsea in December 1991. He later became a well-known non-league player in the Hampshire area.
Vinnie had made his debut for Andover when he came to City and later returned to the Hampshire club where he scored around 180 goals during several spells. Playing until he was forty, he also appeared for a number of clubs including Eastleigh, Thatcham Town and Bemerton Heath Harlequins.
