He was a playing substitute, for the Under-16 on the 14th of August 1989 against Weston Oak Villa, City won 7-0.


Marc played for the youth team at Exeter in 1990/91 and in 1991/92, in the Devon and Exeter Youth League.

He was in a team that beat Plymouth side SB Frankfurt 1-0 with Marc scoring the winner.
