Elmore striker Mark Seatherton was was on trial with Exeter City in during the 1985/86 pre-season. Soon afterwards he joined Tiverton Town where he was to enjoy four prolific seasons.
Scoring 135 goals during his time at Tiverton as the Ladysmead club won promotion and started to challenge at a higher level, he returned to Elmore in 1990 where he added another seventy goals to his tally before joining Cullompton Rangers
