FOXY JUNIOR CAPPED
Congratulations go to 15-year old David Fox, son of City manager Peter, who recently won his first international cap for England at Under-15 level.
David, who plays regularly for Exeter City's Centre of Excellence sides, previously appeared for Exmouth based team, Dinan Demons. He attended two trials with the England squad at Lilleshall and Epping, along with no fewer than 50 other young hopefuls, and impressed sufficiently to get an England call-up.
He made his international debut, in a midfield role, at Preston North End's Deepdale ground against Ireland, a game which was televised live by Sky
television.
David was one of the few players in the England squad who was not associated with a Premiership side. He admitted that he was surprised and delighted to get the call-up, whilst Peter Fox added that it was a great honour, not just for the family, but for Exeter City Football Club as well in the form of further recognition for the thriving youth policy.
