Aaron, from Honiton, was with the Under-15s development squad at the Centre of Excellence in 2006/07 and played for the under-16s the following season before becoming a scholar/trainee in 2008. He never played for the first-team but was given a squad number for 2008/09 and 2009/10. 

After his release from City, Aaron later played for Axminster Town and Hontion Town where he subsequently had a spell as manager. 

After stepping back from the managerial role, Aaron was still appearing for Honiton in the SW Peninsula League during 2022/23.
