Charlie Boyd
Charlie Boyd, from Liverpool,was on trial in the 1991 pre-season. He played at Falmouth and Newquay.
In the match at Newquay, which City won 5-1, Charlie was injured as the result of a bad tackle in the 89th minute, resulting in a nasty knee injury.
Charlie was born in Liverpool in 1969, and played for the youth team and reserves at Liverpool from 1986 to 1989, he was at Bristol Rovers in 1989, and then Chesterfield.
After his trial with the Grecians he played for Runcorn, Chorley, Northwich Victoria and in 1995 played for Winsford United, moving onto play for Bangor City in 1996, Caernarfon Town and Lancaster City in 97, and finally Witton Albion in 1998.
