A military man, stationed at Topsham Barracks, who appeared for the reserves as an inside-forward in the Plymouth and District League in 1909/10 during the early seasons of the club's professional era.

He caught the eye scoring five times in the trial match for amateurs on 17 August 1909 but did not appear for the first-team in the Southern League.
