Pitshou Ngopwani
Norwich City ex-youth team player Pitshou Ngopwani made his debut on trail for Exeter City against Budleigh Salterton on the 30th October 2001. The match was a friendly arranged to celebrate the new floodlights at their Greenaway Lane ground.
Pitshou, a striker, scored twice as City ran out 4-0 winners, in front of a crowd close to 500 spectators.
He was born in Zaire, but played for England at u-15 level and later for Northern Ireland at U-18 level in 1999. He had joined Norwich as a schoolboy but was released at the end of the 2000/01 season. Before trialling for the Grecians he had a trial at Southend in July 2001. He later signed for Hendon, and in 2003 was playing for Chalfont St Peter.
