Gary Fulbrook
Gary Fulbrook was a midfielder, who trialled for the youth team in a match away at Swansea in the South West and Wales Youth League. The club said the following “Gary Fulbrook the apprentice just released by Swindon Town, had a useful game in midfield for city and will get a further trial.”
Gary was born in Twerton and signed for Swindon Town as a youth player. He played an FA Cup game and one league game for Swindon in November 1984
In the summer of 1985, he signed for Bath City as an 18-year old, and went on to play 80 matches for the Romans, as a defender.
At the start of the 1986/87 season he signed for Carlisle United at the start of the 1987-88 season, a tribunal decided a fee of £3000.
He returned to Bath for the same amount after five months and went on to play 50 more times for Bath City, before joining Gloucester City in February 1988.
He moved from Gloucester to Weymouth helping them clinch promotion to the Beazer Homes Premier Division. He was also the Player of the Year in the same season. He played 125 games for the Terra's until 1993.
He later played for Yate Town and in 1994/95 he moved to play for Taunton Town.
