Biographical Text
Ryan Fice was a trialist from the Plymouth area who later played and managed clubs in Devon and Cornwall.
Aged eighteen, Ryan scored a first-half hat-trick in a 10-0 friendly win at Bodmin Town. Around this time he also played for Plymouth Argyle in a Devon St Luke's Bowl game at Tiverton.
Failing to secure a deal at City, and based in Plymouth, he had a long career in Cornwall and Devon non-league football playing for teams such as Falmouth Town, Bodmin, Plymouth Parkway and Ivybridge Town. He also played representative football for Cornwall.
He later went into management and, in 2022, Ryan moved on from the assistant manager’s job at Callington to become manager of St Blazey after ex-City trainee Phil Lafferty had stepped up to a director of football-type role. Although St Blazey enjoyed a good start Ryan soon left Blaise Park and soon joined Torpoint Athletic where he remained until 2025.
