1955 Bowkett, Graham
Graham Bowkett, from Pontypridd, had three seasons with Exeter City in the mid-1950s without playing for the first-team.
One of a number of young players from Pontypridd at St James' Park in the 1950s, Graham was heading off on a youth tour of Germany in the summer of 1955 when he chose to sign for Exeter City in preference to Cardiff City.
Arriving at his new club, he soon made his Southern League debut for the reserves against Yeovil Town on 27 August 1955 and remained a reserve player into 1955/56 when - having been called up for National Service - there was some uncertinly about Exeter City retaining his service whilst he was serving in the army at Devizes. Nonetheless regular arrangements were made and he stayed at the club until 1957/58.
