Youth team trialist from Bristol who later played in the Football League with Walsall and Torquay United before playing for Tiverton Town.
Having left school in 1990, he came to City on trial before slightly-belatedly becoming a trainee with Walsall where he made eighteen first-team appearances. Having a brief spell with Taunton Town, Torquay United paid the Somerset club a fee for his services ahead of a 73-game Football League career with the Plainmoor club.
He later enjoyed a lengthy association with Tiverton Town as well as playing for several other clubs within reach of Bristol whilst running a tiling and bathroom business in Shirehampton, Bristol.
