Lauris, was on work experience from Team Bath, Bath University and played for the reserves, against Swindon Town, away, on the 16th October 2007.

Lauris was a defender, born on the 27/09/88, who started off with Southend United in 2004 in their under 18′s and was playing for their youth team in December 2006 and then made a number of appearances for the reserves. He was released in the Summer of 2007

In 2008 he was still playing  with Team Bath and in October 2008 he moved to Frome Town on loan.

In 2010 he played in pre-season for Chelmsford City, signing for Witham Town in August 2010, he was still with Witham Town in April and September 2011.
He then played for Great Wakering Rovers and in January 2012 signed for Heybridge Swifts, leaving them to join Brentwood Town in March 2012.
He also played for Heybridge Swifts, Stanway. Rovers and Maldon and Tiptree.

In 2016/17 he played for Redbridge FC.

In 2019/20, Lauris was leading the Under-12s to Under-14s phase of development, at West Ham United's Academy.
