Shaun Lamb played school-age football for Bristol City, and was a Bath University student playing for Team Bath, when he arrived at City on a ‘work experience’ arrangement in July 2007. He played in a number of pre-season games and agreed a deal with City before playing a number of reserve games during the autumn. 

Shaun, who had also been at Forest Green, soon returned to Team Bath and - upon the team folding in 2009 - signed for Chippenham before moving to Bitton and then Mangotsfield. 

He retired from playing in 2015.
