Local amateur who appeared for the reserves in the Plymouth and District League between 1911 and 1914 during the early seasons of the club's professional era. Did not appear for the first-team in the Southern League.

He played at outside-left, centre-forward and inside-forward and is known to have played as early as a friendly against Crediton in November 1911 and as late as in a friendly at Plymouth Argyle on Boxing Day 1914.
