Addicott played and scored for the reserves in a friendly against Crediton on the 4/11/1911. (City won 9-2). He was a forward who played at outside left, centre forward or inside forward. He scored quite a few goals for the reserves.

He was an amateur and continued to play at City, playing again in 1914 in a friendly away at Plymouth Argyle on Boxing Day.
