Jim Taylor, from Beer, was amateur who played for Exeter City Reserves in the Exeter and District League as an outside-left.
His first match was against St Austell in October 1933 in a friendly in front of a large crowd.
He continued to play for the reserves in the Southern League and Exeter and District League in 1934/35, 1935/36 and 1936/37. He also played for Seaton Town in the 1930’s.
