John Bluck

John Bluck, the son of a former West Bromwich Albion professional signed for Exeter on amateur forms on the 1/11/1928. 

The Express reported the following when he signed:-
"Wallis and Bluck signed amateur forms. The former s 20 years of age and 5ft. 7in. in height, and has played at inside-left, for Bishopsteignton. Bluck is a member of the Kenton United team. An outside-right, he played for Shropshire County last year."

He made his debut at outside-left for Exeter City Reserves in a friendly against Torquay United on the 24/11/1928. As reported in the Express:- "At the outset play was fairly even. Bluck appearing for the City Reserves for the first time, made a good impression on the right wing, his passing being accurate, and from one of his centres Wade scored the first goal."

Later that season he played in the Western and Southern Leagues. An amateur, forward, he was still playing for the reserves in the Southern League and Exeter and District League in 1936/37.
